How Corrections Are Noted
Minor fixes are typically made directly within the article without a specific notification. These changes do not require an editor’s note.
For significant corrections, an editor’s note will be added to the affected article. This note will explain the change made and the date it was implemented. It will be clearly visible to readers.
Articles that are retracted will display a prominent notice explaining the retraction. The original content may be replaced with this notice or remain available with a clear retraction banner.
How to Report an Error
Readers can help us maintain accuracy by reporting any errors they discover. If you find a factual mistake, grammatical error, or any misleading information, please contact our editorial team.
Send an email to [email protected] with “Correction Request” in the subject line. Please include the article title, the URL of the article, and a detailed description of the error. Provide any supporting evidence or correct information if available.
Timeline for Reviewing Reported Errors
We review all reported errors within two business days of receipt. Our team will investigate the claim and verify the information. You will receive an email response regarding the outcome of our review.
If a correction is deemed necessary, we aim to implement it within 48 hours following verification. Retractions may take slightly longer due to the nature of the review process.
Transparency and Correction History
Play Marjan Island believes in transparency regarding our content. For significant corrections, the editor’s note will permanently remain on the article page. This ensures a clear record of changes made.
We do not delete or hide previous versions of articles that have undergone significant correction or retraction. Our policy maintains visibility for all updates made to our published content.
